Outdoor hot spas

Relax in our outdoor hot spas

The hotel’s hot spa baths are centrally located amidst the chalets with junior suites. The temperature is max 39-40 degrees, and the baths are kept open almost all year round. In July they can be closed for a week or two, but then Mälaren’s longest sand beach is available just a stone-throw away from the castle.

We have a total of four outdoor hot spas (a maximum of 7 people in two of the baths and a maximum of 4 people in two of the baths). These are equipped with jet streams. You can borrow a bathrobe, and you will be provided with bath slippers for the walk up to the hot spa baths.
Please bring your own swimsuits.

On certain occasions, the schedule of the hot spa baths can be fully booked, and we therefore recommend that you book an hour’s bath in advance when booking your stay.

Note that there is an 8-year limit for using the baths. Small children can overheat when the temperature is above body temperature. In addition, these are no play pools. The spa baths are for relaxation only.

The hot spas are outdoors and therefore visible for other hotel guests.

You shower in your bathroom / hotel bathroom before the bath. The hot spa baths are salt-chlorinated and measurements of bromine, pH-value and so on occur regularly according to a control program to ensure good hygiene. Support chlorination also takes place a few times a week.

For those who are looking for the spa experience, we recommend one of our 12 luxury suites with a spa bath in their own bathrooms. Four of these bathrooms also have their own sauna.

Loans of bathrobe and slippers are included in the price. You rent one or more hot spa baths for your own party. We do not normally mix different parties in the same hot spa. The exception is at a few number of weekends per year when we then have free baths.

As an alternative to the hot tubs, the hotel’s sauna is available free of charge for hotel guests.
