When was the last time that you were attending an 18th century masquerade ball?
…and when have you and your friends and colleagues ever felt like dukes and duchesses? Hierarchies are blurred when everyone is allowed to be equally handsome for an evening, in polonaises (robe à la Polonaise), culottes and justaucorps and more. The castle has over 200 beautiful high-quality rococo-style suits and through a collaboration with a theater studio we can arrange even more. An 18th century masquerade ball fits both large and small groups – the magic power of the costumes can brighten any dinner. The evening starts with the red carpet being rolled out and the castle canon shooters firing off gun salutes. Once inside the castle is a dining room dedicated to your group. The success will be a fact if the theme dinner comes as a surprise to the participants. We have tips on how you can find out the sizes of your colleagues. In addition, there is the possibility to change size if something would not fit, because the costumes are here on location. The costumes are sewn in sizes XS to XXXL – regardless of size, everyone should be beautifully dressed. A Masquerade ball is offered either as a supplement if you have already booked full board, or as a separate company party if you come to only experience the masquerade ball. We would also warmly recommend that you use one of the castle’s selected toast masters. |
